So easy question for many people, but never for me.
From when I started to have memory, every time a stranger asked me directly or to others, "where I came from?" , I was so surprised and never couldn't understand or imagine why people from my same country keep asking me that.
"I born here what a stupid question", I had thought.
With time, As a kid, I started to see my parent differences, that made me so happy and proud to share my roots, and thanks to the little mean and curious kids who pointed the finger against me, calling me "Chinese" or saying "Nihao". I realized how actually I appear different for others, and how was important to yell to the world that " I'm half Korean and half Moroccan !!"
Two different countries, that I became really familiar with in my twenties.
